About TRAKL

TRAKL is a local-first app for tracking habits, finances, tasks, goals, sleep, fitness, mood, and other aspects of daily life. It runs on your device without requiring an account or cloud sync. Your data stays on your phone unless you choose to export it.

License to use the app

Pimora grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use TRAKL on devices you own or control, subject to these terms and the rules of the App Store or Google Play from which you downloaded it.

TRAKL's source code is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0. Using the app as an end user is separate from modifying or distributing the source code. See the LICENSE file in our GitHub repository for software licensing terms.

Your data and backups

Because TRAKL stores data locally, you are responsible for keeping your device secure and maintaining backups if you want to preserve your entries. We are not responsible for data loss caused by device failure, app uninstallation, or accidental deletion.

TRAKL provides export and import tools so you can back up your data yourself. We recommend using them regularly if your entries matter to you.

Advertising

TRAKL is free to use and supported by banner ads through Google AdMob. Where required, the app asks for your consent before showing personalized ads. You can change your ad preferences in Settings. See our Privacy Policy for how ad-related data is handled.

Not professional advice

TRAKL helps you log and review personal information. It is not a medical device, financial advisor, therapist, or fitness coach. Do not rely on TRAKL for medical, financial, or mental health decisions. Always consult qualified professionals for matters that affect your health, finances, or wellbeing.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use TRAKL for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to interfere with the app's normal operation or security
• Reverse engineer or modify the app to bypass ads, consent flows, or security measures for abusive purposes
• Redistribute modified versions of TRAKL in a way that violates the GPL or these terms

Intellectual property

The TRAKL name, logo, and app design are owned by Pimora. The source code is available under GPL v3 as described in the repository. Third-party libraries and services (including Google Mobile Ads) remain subject to their own licenses and terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

TRAKL is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of tracked data, or uninterrupted availability. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or that all features will work on every device or OS version.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pimora and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of TRAKL, including loss of data, loss of profits, or reliance on information you logged in the app.

Our total liability for any claim related to TRAKL will not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Since TRAKL is free, this amount is typically zero.

Changes and availability

We may update TRAKL, change features, or discontinue the app at any time. We may also update these terms. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date on this page. Your continued use of TRAKL after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

Termination

You may stop using TRAKL at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access to TRAKL if you violate these terms, though because the app is local-first, your existing on-device data remains under your control.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Greece, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Greece, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
